If you own an electric vehicle, then it is important that you know where to find a charging station. Public networks are the best option to charge your car. However, public charging can be more expensive than home charging. A membership system may be an option to lower your charging costs.

One of the best ways to find a charging station is by utilizing a smartphone app. These apps require a few simple registration and geolocation requirements. After you have completed all the steps, you will see a map of nearby charging stations. Some apps offer in-app payments. To make your charging process even easier, you can create a social login and register.

PlugShare is one the most used apps to find charging stations. It allows you to search for a charging station by location and see the reviews from other users. You can also use your smartphone to pay charges. You can download the app from the store and it has a rating of 4.6 stars.

Another app you can use to monitor your battery's current charge is the EVgo App. The app is available for both iOS and Android. The app is free to download, and it has received more than 50k downloads. It features real-time notifications and a user-friendly interface that gives you information about the nearest charging station, including its price, distance, and availability. You can also track how long your batteries have been charging.

If you prefer to go the more traditional route, you can use a standard three-pin wall socket to charge your vehicle. This is not recommended since it can take over 30hrs to fully charge an electric vehicle. Alternative options include an untethered lead for charging. This allows you to easily swap the charging leads between your vehicle or the charging station. Before you can use a cable, align your pads.

You can pay your charges using your smartphone at EV charging stations for the adventurous. These stations are also known as quick charging points. These stations allow your vehicle to be charged in as little as two hours.

As of 2019, there were 7.3 million charging sessions worldwide. There were 6.5million low-speed chargers available for private cars. 2.6% of all global vehicle sales were electric. By 2025, electric cars will account for 10% worldwide.

This means that you can easily locate a charging site and see other electric car owners' reviews. The app allows you to search for charging stations by specific brands or location. If you need help, you can contact a customer service representative.

An EV charging station is a good idea if you live in densely populated areas. It will allow you to keep your electric vehicle charged even when you are not at home.
